December 29,2010 Baby Jax Rolls Over

         Well last night baby Jax rolled over for the first time... He is growing up so quick. I cant beleive he is almost 5 months old it seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hosptial. I love being a mommy to such a precious little guy and Josh loves being a daddy to his little man.

Jax's first Christmas.

      This year was Jax's first Christmas and i must say he was very spoiled! He was so much fun to open gifts with. He wasn't so intrested in the clothes but oh boy he was sure intrested in the toys! He didn't really understand the whole meaning of christmas this year and the whole santa thing. I am sure next year he will be scared of him. But who knows we maybe lucky and he may like him. Here are a bunch of pictures of us opening presents on christmas.

     This year was Jax's first christmas and we took him to see Santa and he was so happy when we took him to see him. He smiled the whole time he was sitting on his lap. When we took him to see Santa he got a little rattle that had cars on it. I know that probably next year he will be scared of Santa when we take him to see him but we are hoping that he will be as happy as he was this year!

    On December 20,2010 we blessed our precious little man. It was such an awesome day! I am so happy that we got him blessed. Josh's dad was the one that did his blessing and it was a wonderful blessing. Josh and I were so happy with the turn out of people that came. I am also very thankful that my grandpa, aunt, and uncle were there to support me. I want to thank everyone who came. It was a very special day for Josh, Jax, and I.

Next Baby Jax is four months old!!

      Our little man turned 4 months old on December 16.. He is growing up so quick. It seems like just yesterday he came into our lifes! I love being a mommy to this precious little man. He is our world. He is a little gibber gabber he loves to just ramble on. He really wants to talk.. Sometimes it really sounds like he is saying sentences but you cant understand what he is trying to say. I just want him to stay little for a little longer. I dont want our little guy to grow up.

I know i have been a slacker.... So here are all of the updates with us.. The first thing is thanksgiving

Well were to start off.

I guess i will start off with Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful thanksgiving. Baby Jax got to taste mashed potatoes for the first time and he loved them!! We had a blast with Josh's mom's family as well as Josh's dad's family. We ate so much turkey and all the yummy stuff that goes with that!!

Well as everyone knows we have our new little addition to our family and we got to carve pumpkins as just our little family it was so much fun!! But towards the end of all of it Jax got grumpy so we put him to bed but the pumpkins turned out really cute!

Happy Halloween!!!

So this year we decided to dress our little man up as a Dragon!! He was so stinkin cute! Josh and I dressed up as well. Josh was Beer pong and i was a Racer Chick! It was so much fun dressing Jax up. I cant beleive how quick they grow up!! Before we know it he will be 1 and walking. I just want him to stay small forever!!!

Crib time!!

So this week we decided to move Jax into his crib. It has been really hard on me. I have had alot of anxiety and haven't sleep much. I know it is just going to take some time to get used to him being in there. But he loves being in there and he sleeps really well. He only wakes up once a night!!!

Baby Jax got his 2 month old shots.

Well on monday Jax got his 2 month old shots. It was so sad. He was so grumpy after he got them but he was a trooper and he made it through them. He was really upset once he realized that they had givin him his shots. He cried for just a second and after that he was ok. I really felt like a horrible mommy when he got his shots. But i am very happy we got them done and over with, but we have to go back when he is 4 months to get more shots :(. But I it is alot better to have him get all he shots he needs then him getting really sick. I love our little guy and I am so proud of him for being a trooper!

2 months already

Our little guy Jax is already 2 months old. I cant beleive how quick they grow. Its seems like just yesterday we were at the hospital having him! He had grown up so much since he was born. His facial expressions change ever single day and i swear he grows more and more everyday. I cant beleive Jax is already 2 months!

A little bit about our family!

Josh and I met in May of 2009 and have been together since then! We are happy as ever! We have an English Mastiff her name is Posh and she is just a bundle of joy! We found out in January of 2010 that we were expecting a baby in August 2010! We found out in April that it was a BOY!! We had him August 16,2010 at 9:51 pm and he was 20.5"inches long! His name is Joshua Jax Bruening! He is the best thing that has ever happened to Josh and I. Being a parent is the greatest gift in the world. Josh and I love the outdoors and being with our family! This is a little bit about or little family! So just watch for more updates!
